The Sound

Soma Raza is part of the original ‘Barcelona Sound.’ Emerging during the peak of the mestizo scene in 2000, they are known for their fusion of punk, reggae, and ska, mixed with Caribbean percussion. With a gritty, ‘malandro’ salsa influence and lyrics written to celebrate life or convey intense emotions, Soma Raza represents a Barcelona Mestiza culture that persists through the power of punk guitars and fiery rhythms.
